I thought of all of you. I don't know why, but I kinda miss them. Little to no contact for so long makes you think of all the good things.

No man, remember the bad things they did. Remember.

-----------------

I'm in my 5th week of ns now. I'm lying on my bed reminiscing about the past. I guess I just don't want to remember. I am a silent sufferer, but that's the way life treats you. I've been having a stream of unlucky events hitting me. Last Thursday I almost lost my jockey cap because I left it in the cinema, but I remembered it just in time to rush back a retrieve it before the doors closed. Luckily, I'd left when the credits just started rolling. It was shrek, so people stayed for the colorful credits. I was in a rush so..

I also nearly lost my gutters, empulets, and I actually lost my headphones and used my new 3GS ones, only to have my dad find it after I booked into camp. I drove to camp and my dad drove back, but when I got off, I dropped my beret onto the road (I only found out about this the next day) and my platoon mate found it and passed it to the provosts. I went there to collect it the following night, but they couldn't find it :(

I have also been sick with severe cough, sore throat (I lost my voice), and extremely grotesque rashes on my feet. The coughs are still here, but subsiding slowly. Sore throat's gone. Rashes are healing up with my spammage of mopiko cream. BUT, some disgusting growth sprout out from my back. Hopefully it's not a mutant egg. I can't do crunches properly now because it's painful to lie on my back on a hard surface.

Anyways, there's an SOC test and the term 1 theory test this week. The theory test is open ended, with essays. Damn. It includes things like thermal physics, fire chemistry and commander systems etc. It's a thick bunch of notes. We have to pass it to stay in the course, which, btw, upon completion rewards us with a diploma, a sergeant rank, 10 day/month shifts in stations and 1.2k pay :) Woot! I think life here is a blessing, and was one in disguise till I realized it. We've got a gym and swimming pool we can use after 530pm.

I'll be going to Sabah on 6/17 for overseas training for 9 days. I have mixed feelings because we're going to be living in the jungle and I heard there's a solo night where you'll have to survive on your own for the entire night in the jungle. I heard.
